Tracking money for the Dick Van Dyke Foundation

Local News

DANVILLE, Ill. (WCIA) — Neighbors are asking where their money went after almost $50,000 was raised for the Dick Van Dyke Foundation.

Leaders say they’re still working on the old house. Some of the money raised did go to setting up the non-profit, but they say the rest of the money will go to Danville.

Some could go to grants for students, but they’re hoping to use some of the money to start working on the house by spring.

They hope that in a month-and-a-half, they’ll have an idea of what the renovations will look like.
