Three people treated for gunshot wounds

DANVILLE, Ill. (WCIA) —  Police are investigating a weekend shooting that left three men in the emergency room in two different cities with gunshot wounds.

Investigators say it happened just before 2 a.m. on Sunday morning.

Police were called to the emergency room for a 32 year old man who was being treated for his injuries.

The victim told police he got into a fight in the 1200 block of Garden Drive when soneone fired several shots at him.

The man was unable to give police a good description of the suspected shooter.

Investigators learned that two other men were at an Urbana hospital for gunshot wounds they got apparently at this same location in Danville.

Both victims told police they were from Chicago. 

They were treated and released from the hospital.

Neither would talk with police and provide any details on what happened.
