Threat written on bathroom stall

Local News

BEARDSTOWN, Ill. (WCIA) — A Cass County school went on lockdown last week when a threatening message was found on a stall door in the girl’s bathroom.

On Facebook, the Beardstown School District said police were called to the middle/high school building on Thursday and remained at the school all day Friday and searched students’ bags with metal detectors. There’s no word on what the message said, but the District asked parents to talk to their kids about the severity of writing things like that.
