ILLINOIS (WCIA) — Now’s your chance to vote on the state’s Bicentennial Best!
The Illinois Bicentennial Commission is being joined by the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum and the State Journal-Register to choose the state’s 200 best people, places and things.
Every two weeks, through the end of the year, people can vote the best of the best for Illinois’ 200th anniversary.
Voting for Top Businesses opened Monday and include nominees such as Archer Daniels Midland, Caterpillar Inc., Deere & Co., and DeKalb AgResearch.
You can suggest possible nominees in a variety of categories using #ILtop200 on social media.
On December 3, 1818, Illinois became the 21st state in the union.
