Suspects rob Burger King at gunpoint

EFFINGHAM, Ill. (WCIA) — Police are looking for two armed robbery suspects. It happened about 10:20 pm, Thursday, at Burger King, in the 1300-block of North Keller Drive.

An employee reported two men, one with a gun, had entered the business and demanded money. The suspects are described as males, black, 5’5″ – 5’9″, each with a slender or skinny build.

Both wore black, zip-up hoodies and black shoes. One suspect wore blue-and-white acid-washed jeans; the second wore black pants.

The suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of cash in a dark-colored SUV, possibly a Dodge Durango. No one was hurt.
