UNIVERISTY OF ILLINOIS (WCIA) — A UI student athlete was arrested on charges of domestic battery.
20-year old Olalere Oladipo, of Champaign, was arrested about 1 am, Sunday, in a parking lot in the 100-block of East Peabody Drive.
Police were called to the scene by someone who heard a woman screaming and saw a man forcing the woman into a car. The man was later identified as Oladipo.
Officers say the woman sustained a minor injury to her lip.
