RANTOUL, Ill. (WCIA) — A Fisher soldier was laid to rest Friday with full honors.
29-year old Joni Reifsteck served in the US Army National Guard’s 333rd Battalion.
Her tour was in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom. She died Sunday.
Friday, her funeral services were held with a Patriot Guard escort.
Reifsteck was buried at the Danville National Cemetery.
