MATTOON, Ill. (WCIA) — A homeless man faces several charges after an arrest.
44-year old Paul Livingston was taken into custody about 11 pm, Saturday, in the 1400-block of Lafayette.
Authorities responded to the area for a disturbance. When they arrived, a neighbor reported the man who had been outside yelling profanities and disturbing the peace had walked into a nearby home.
Officers found Livingston in the basement of an apartment house. When they asked him to leave, he reportedly threw a crate he had been using as a toilet at an officer.
He was arrested for criminal trespass to residence, disorderly conduct and aggravated assault to a police officer.
