CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — Eighth graders at Franklin STEAM Academy created their own museum.

It’s the 13th year of the event. Students created posters, built models, and wrote about different genocides in history.

Most presentations were about the Holocaust. The event was open to the public.

The students will have their work shown at the Champaign Urbana Jewish Federation’s “Through Their Eye Exhibit” in the spring.
