MATTOON, Ill. (WCIA) — The city council plans to discuss neighbors’ complaints about speeding.

Residents want the city to consider installing a 3-way stop sign at 35th Street and Willow Avenue.

Public works got the requisition from the neighborhood. The director says they get a lot of requests, but this intersection doesn’t have any signage which prompted them to consider the proposal.

The director says he expects residents to voice their opinions on the matter at Tuesday night’s meeting.

The council will also look at the public library report and a request for a water bill adjustment after a man experienced a leak on his property.
