CHAMPAIGN COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — Authorities are investigating a case of theft, burglary and deceptive practices. It happened between 12:30 – 5:30 pm, at four businesses in the Prospect Avenue shopping district, Tuesday, September 19.
A man accessed restricted areas of four stores and stole personal belongings from employees of each business. Stolen debit/credit cards were then used at area businesses.
The suspect is described as a male, 20 – 35 years old, black, with an athletic build. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored Adidas shirt, black Adidas pants and black shoes.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers. Tipsters are always 100% completely anonymous.
