Pet food bank helps low-income families

DECATUR, Ill. (WCIA) — You may have heard of a food bank, but this one is a bit different.

The New Hope Animal Shelter is hosting a Pet Food Bank in partnership with the Northeast Community Fund. This food bank will help low-income families provide for their pets. They will have discounted food, litter, treats, and toys.

Any food or monetary donations is welcome. Your donations will help the community’s pet owners as well as the Northeast Community Fund and New Hope Animal Shelter with their missions.

Pet Food Bank:
Every 3rd Thursday starting Jan. 17th
2-4 p.m.
