DECATUR — A line up of performers has been announced for the Decatur Celebration.
There are some big name artists on the list. The three-day event brings in tens of thousands of people annually.
To prepare for the event, organizers are changing the way things are set up. Nelly is going to be the headliner at this year’s event. He’s not the only one. Brett Michaels and Travis Tritt, along with several others will hit the stage.
Organizers say they hope this will be the biggest celebration so far. Something new this year; they’ll be fencing off the perimeter.
Everyone 13 years old and up will have to have a wristband to get in. This is the 32nd year of the event. With the list of performers, they hope this year will be bigger and better than ever.
Ticket prices are $8 at the door and $5 in advance. It covers entry for the entire weekend. Those 12 and under get in free.
