TUSCOLA, Ill. (WCIA) — A hallway in the Douglas County Museum pays tribute to the area’s veterans.
The hallway was installed a few years ago, through a grant from the Daughters of the American Revolution. Inside, there are old uniforms, photos, weapons and artifacts from decades ago. A majority of the items are donations.
The museum director says they plan to add more to the hallway, hopefully through another grant. They want to add more interactive exhibits.
The museum is open weekdays. For more information, click here.
