POTOMAC, Ill. (WCIA) — The American Legion has been serving up a town tradition for years. It serves breakfast every day of the week, except Sundays.

All they ask is for a donation for the legion. Marilyn Hoskins says they don’t have a menu, but if she can make it, you can order it.

“The people say, ‘Well, if you don’t cook, then we don’t have anywhere to go for breakfast,’ so that’s why we keep it alive here, so people can come and gather and talk to each other,” said Hoskins.

It’s not just breakfast. Once a month, the legion also hosts a fish fry.
