DECATUR, Ill. (WCIA) — An officer, shot during a traffic stop, is recovering from his injuries. The incident happened about 8:40 pm, Thursday, in the 1400-block of North Union.

Both officers were treated at the hospital and released, but the extent of injuries sustained by the second officer have not been specified.
