CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — One man is dead after being struck by a vehicle on Bradley Avenue Tuesday night.

Police responded to Bradley and Willis about 8:30 pm where they found a pedestrian had been struck while crossing the street.

The victim, 67-year old Robert Milligan, of Champaign, was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities say Milligan was hit by a vehicle heading westbound on Bradley. Officials say the driver has been cooperative and initial reports show no sign of driver impairment or distraction.
