CRESCENT CITY — After nearly three decades, the town has a new mayor.

Mark Rabe was sworn into the position at the beginning of the month. He ran uncontested in March.

After 28-years, former mayor Jim Ward didn’t run for re-election. Rabe says the transition has been tough, cut he’s picking up where Ward left off.

Rabe was a board member under Ward for about seven years before deciding to run for mayor.
