UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS (WCIA) — An art museum is expanding its collection. The Krannert Art Museum raised $10 million during a five year fundraiser.

The money came from private donations and help from the UI’s provost. The money is being used to pay for art education programs, gallery renovations and securing more art.

They are adding works by African-American artists, documentary photography and other groups they feel are lacking.
