DANVILLE, Ill. (WCIA) — A ministry says it’s grown too much for its current space. Fair Hope Children’s Ministry helps kids with things like school supplies and uniforms, clothes and personal care items.
It had a rummage sale to raise money for a new building. Leaders say their old one is too small and the facility is not wheelchair-accessible.
Volunteers say they hope to raise $300,000 for a new, one-level building. So far, they have raised about $25,000. They are holding another rummage sale from 8 am – noon, Saturday, August 25.
