Mansion move halfway to goal

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — The man behind moving the Burnham Mansion has made progress on raising money to get the historic building to a new site.

A former University of Illinois architecture student bought the mansion and now he has to move it.

Chris Enck has raised about half of the $10,000 on an online fundraising page.

This will help with the first two phases of the move.

Those include getting a new site and excavating for the basement and actually moving the building.
