Man accused of drug activity on campus

UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS (WCIA) — A Grayslake man faces drug charges.

21-year old Joshi Hirsh was arrested about 7:15 pm, Sunday, at Nugent Hall, in the 200-block of East Gregory Drive, Champaign.

Police responded to a report of suspected drug activity. Authorities say they seized a digital scale with cannabis residue, two smoking devices, two plastic bags containing cannabis and $600 cash.

Hirsh is charged with delivery or manufacture of cannabis over 30 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.
