URBANA, Ill. (WCIA) — The Urbana School District 116 Board of Education announces three finalists in its search for a new Superintendent of Schools.
Committees representing staff, administrators, parents and community members will interview each of the three finalists and give immediate input to the Board of Education.
The successful candidate will begin his or her duties on July 1.
The candidates are:
- Dr. Jennifor Ivory-Tatum is assistant superintendent of Achievement and Student Learning in Champaign’s Unit #4 District.
- Kirk Koennecke is superintenent of the Graham School District in St. Paris, Ohio.
- Dr. Brian Metcalf is managing director of impact at City Year Chicago.
