ARGENTA, Ill. (WCIA) — Kids got a chance to learn about safety from the professionals.
The Macon County Sheriff’s Office and the Argenta Oreana Fire Department were at Prairie Park for Friends of Argenta.
Kids rode on firetrucks, played on inflatables and got fingerprints and photos taken in case a child goes missing.
Organizers say they do this to show appreciation. The event takes place the second Saturday in August every year.
