Kids to Know ring it & sing it for Salvation Army

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — These could be the cutest bell ringers you’ll see this Christmas season, but what brings them out is what makes them Kids to Know.

The Edwards children are serious about raising money for the Salvation Army. Ella, Layla, Lucy and little Easton could be heard outside Prairie Gardens doing their thing.

They dress up every time they ring bells for the Red Kettle campaign, three or four times a year. Not only that, but they sing Christmas carols the whole time; once for five hours straight.

They do this to honor a cousin who died in a fire four years ago. They’re also thinking about all the children who will benefit from the donations.

These kids are givers. They won a Halloween costume contest as all the characters from Little Red Riding Hood and used their winnings to make gift bags to bring to children in the hospital.
