DECATUR, Ill. (WCIA) — No one was hurt after a fire at Archer Daniels Midland.
Crews arrived at the scene about 8 am, Monday, for a tank on fire. The corn wet mill plant has multiple floors.
The fire reportedly started because of insulation in the tank. Employees were evacuated.
The fire chief says ADM workers were helpful making sure the fire was extinguished properly.
