IDNR considers Eagle Creek renovation

SHELBYVILLE, Ill. (WCIA) — Eagle Creek Resort could have another life.

The Illinois Department of Natural Resources has been looking for a developer to renovate or rebuild the resort. It got one bid for the project.

IDNR is reviewing it and has not set a timeline for when it will accept or reject it.

The resort closed in 2009 because of mold problems. Renovations could cost as much as $17 million.
