SHELBYVILLE, Ill. (WCIA) — Police are investigating four residential burglaries. All happened between Monday and Tuesday morning.
Chief Dave Tallman says what’s most worrisome is residents were in all the at the time. He adds, given the right circumstances, these crimes can quickly become dangerous situations.
Authorities are also investigating several vehicle burglaries. Some were related to the home burglaries, while others were not.
Officials say to make sure to lock your doors, windows, houses, garages and out-buildings locked at all times. Plus, take valuable items out of your car and under lock-and-key when not being attended.
