MAHOMET, Ill. (WCIA) — The Mahomet-Seymour grad, who saved countless lives during a school shooting in Indiana will be honored next week.
Jason Seaman will be at the home football game August 31 against Effingham.
On May 25, the Noblesville West Middle School science teacher tackled a student who came into class and started shooting.
Shot three times himself, Seaman was able to wrestle the gun away before anyone else was shot.
Seaman, who graduated in 2007, played football in high school and college at SIU.
