MACON COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) – A former basketball stand out was arrested after a drug bust.
Former Eisenhower High School graduate and Purdue University basketball player, Lewis Jackson was arrested on I-72 for a traffic violation, Saturday.
Macon County’s K-9 unit conducted a free air sniff and indicated there were illegal drugs. Officers then had probable cause to search.
They found 70 grams of heroin, two Xanax and more than eight grams of cannabis. Lewis was taken to jail and bonded out two days later.
