Flooding could be a problem for your pet

CENTRAL ILLINOIS (WCIA) — Flooded fields aren’t just a headache for farmers.

They could become a problem for your pet.

Mosquitoes are already laying eggs in pools and stagnant water.

The U of I Extension Office says it’s too early in the season to worry about West Nile Virus.

But if you live in an area with flooding you might want to keep a close eye on your dog.
