SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WCIA) — Monday is a big day for Illinois’ first family.
Governor Bruce Rauner and his wife Diana will move back into the Governor’s Mansion.
The two-year renovation project on the mansion is nearly complete.
Governor Rauner and the First Lady had been living in the Director’s house on the Illinois State Fairgrounds since November 2016.
The mansion will open to the public in July.
