DECATUR, Ill. (WCIA) — Millikin University is celebrating construction on a new fine arts center.
The new Centre for Theater and Dance is expected to open in the fall of 2020.
Students got a chance to sign one of the beams on the building. Another beam was signed by donors.
The project is estimated to cost about $29 million. The president is excited about the new addition.
They’re still looking for donors to help raise another $3.5 million.
