UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS (WCIA) — Construction starts Monday on a new U of I facility.
The College of Agriculture, Consumer, and Environmental Sciences is getting a $20 million Feed Technology Center. Officials say it will be located near the poultry farm on South Race Street.
Students and researchers will use the building to design and test diets for livestock and other animals. The state-of-the-art facility is expected to be done by next September.
