Farmers can get help from government

NATIONAL (WCIA) — U.S. farmers are getting a little help from the government as the trade war with China continues.

The Department of Agriculture is starting the Market Facilitation program. Starting September 4, it will give money to corn, soybean, cotton, dairy, hog, sorghum and wheat producers. Farmers who are interested can apply once harvest is 100% complete.
