CHAMPAIGN COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — A family needs help after a mother of three was killed in a car accident.

The crash happened before 6 am, Thursday, on Route 45, near Thomasboro, just south of Leverett Road. 23-year old Shana Outlaw was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Friends of the family are looking for support and donations. Outlaw leaves behind an 8-month old, a 4-year old and a 6-year old. Their grandmother is taking care of them right now.

A friend of the family runs the Facebook group, Central Illinois Free Helping Hands. It’s asking people to make donations to the family. She says they’re in desperate needs of money, food, diapers, formula and clothing.

To help, request to be added to the Facebook group Central Illinois Free Helping Hands.
