OAKWOOD, Ill. (WCIA) — The Vermilion County Fair and Expo kicked off Wednesday. There were tractor-driving contests and 4-H shows in the morning. The carnival starts at 6 pm.
Originally a Danville city bus was supposed to stop at the fair, but organizers say it won’t happen because of city budget cuts.
The fair will have the same rides and events it’s known for and enjoying it all will be a little easier on the wallet.
The queen pageant starts at 7 pm, and the carnival is open until 10 pm. Admission is $7/adults; $3/kids under 10. The fair runs through Sunday.
