CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — A film about the impacts of racism on mothers and their babies will be shown Tuesday night at the Champaign Public Library during its Every Mother Counts event. 

In When the Bough Breaks, researchers address the issue and how chronic racism can affect birth and overall health outcomes. The screening starts at 7 pm and there will also be a panel discussion.
