Emergency plane landing

LOGAN COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — State police are on scene of an emergency plane landing on I-55
northbound at Mile Marker 133, near Lincoln. 

Police say the pilot of the Cessna single engine plane was attempting to land at the Logan County Airport when the plane lost power.

During the landing, it struck a car causing minor damage.

The pilot is 51 year old William Farnsley of Austin, Indiana was not hurt.

Two people were in the car at the time but are ok.

The plane had minor damage done to the landing gear and was towed from I-55.

The crash is under investigation.
