CENTRAL ILLINOIS (WCIA) — The Staerkel Planetarium is teaming up with two organizations to optimize access to the “Great American Eclipse.”
The Champaign-Urbana Astronomical Society and Twin City Amateur Astronomers, in Bloomington, are partnering with the planetarium.
Between August 19 – 21, they’re offering a weekend of observing at Camp Ondessonk, in Ozark, Illinois. While at camp, you’ll get rustic lodging and meals, plus educational workshops.
You must register by Monday. The cost is $115. The next chance to see the eclipse is April 8, 2024.
