CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — A new restaurant is opening its doors by giving back.
CoreLife Eatery is in a strip mall in front of Walmart on Prospect. It hosted a Donation Day Thursday. All the money raised will go to Daily Bread Soup Kitchen.
They asked customers to give what they could when they came through the line to eat. The restaurant’s motto is “Clean Eating.”
There are several types of bowls including rice, vegetables and meats.
Donation Day runs until 7:30 pm. The grand opening is Friday.
