URBANA, Ill. (WCIA) — One person’s trash is another person’s treasure — at least that was the case Saturday at the U of I Stock Pavilion. The annual campus Dump and Run sale kicked off there Saturday morning.
The event is like a giant garage sale, with everything from cleaning supplies to furniture. It benefits the University YMCA, but it’s also a great way for students to fill their apartments without breaking their banks.
The Dump and Run continues Sunday. Organizers say there’s still a lot of furniture and household items left, and people won’t be charged to get into the sale. It opens at 11 and runs at least until 2.
