CHAMPAIGN COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — A judge decided a former Champaign Police officer’s guns could be released to a gun dealer.
43-year old Justus Clinton was arrested in May for breaking into pick-up trucks, in Fisher, intending to steal what was inside.
The judge ruled the sheriff’s office could release Clinton’s 30 guns to a dealer. Clinton is due back in court October 2.
