Couple sought for retail theft

CHAMPAIGN COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — Police want help identifying suspects in a retail theft. It happened about 9 am, Monday, April 23, at Kohl’s, at 109 Convenience Center Road, Champaign.

Store personnel told police two people were seen concealing merchandise before leaving the building.

The suspects are a man and woman, black, in their 20’s. The man was wearing a black jacket, white t-shirt and tan pants. The woman was wearing a white Levi’s shirt and black leggings. The couple left the scene in a black or gray sport utility vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers. Tipsters are always 100% completely anonymous.

All tips submitted to Crime Stoppers are electronically stripped of any personally identifying information and processed by a third-party answering service, not law enforcement.
