Local News

ILLINOIS (WCIA) — More than 70 independent pharmacies in rural and downstate communities are getting some much needed help.

Comptroller Susana Mendoza released almost $5 million through a relief program for small pharmacies in areas that are medically underserved. This comes after many pharmacies experienced financial hardship because of rate cuts by benefit managers.
