WESTVILLE, Ill. (WCIA) — The community is trying to help Tyler Karuzis’ family.

His friends say there aren’t enough words to describe how good a man he was. They’re pulling together for support.

Kal’s Roadhouse put out a memorial on Georgetown Road near where the accident which killed him happened.

People who knew him affectionately called him TK. They say he had a heart of gold and was always smiling. So much so, he’d be the one pumping up teammates before football games.

They also say he would do anything for anyone, especially his family. It’s why the entire community is now trying to return the favor.

They set up a meal train donation page for his family and there’s an account open at First Financial Bank as well. A public group page on Facebook has all the donation information. It’s called TK Tough.
