Church taking donations for fire victims

WHITE HEATH, Ill. (WCIA) — A church is gathering donations for families who lost their homes in Sunday’s fire. It happened on Orange Street.

Two families lost their homes and one lost pets. United Methodist Church Pastor Cindy Rettig says it could have been anyone.

” I think this is a community that cares about the people here,” church member Darlene Hoffman says. “It’s what church, religion, Methodism is all about.”  

The church is asking for food, money, and clothing. Sizes for clothes can be found below.
