CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — Part of one road behind the Champaign Public Library is closed for work. Public Works is doing brick rehabilitation on West Healey Street.
Workers are removing the bricks, putting down sand, and are then replacing the bricks. It’s to help even out the road and make it less bumpy. They say the work should be done by either Thursday evening or Friday morning, as long as the weather cooperates.
The driveway to drop off books to the library is still open.
