MACON COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — A former Illinois police sergeant was back in court Monday.

Jeffrey Denning is charged with reckless homicide for the 2016 death of Kelly Wilson. Records show Denning was driving 108 miles per hour in a 35 mph zone when he hit and killed Wilson in May 2016.

In court, Denning’s bond was modified so he can travel to Kentucky in May, but the reason why was not specified. His next court date is set for June.
