Approved funds keep nursing home afloat

CHAMPAIGN COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — County board members authorized spending even more money to keep the nursing home afloat.

Another $2.7 million is set to be spent on the home. The county is in the process of selling it.

The county executive says the goal is to close by December 31, but in case that doesn’t happen, the money will keep the home running into the new year.
